This section deals exclusively with individuals personal experiences. It does not constitute either a recommended departure from the pilot’s manual, nor an endorsement of the particular manoeuvre set out. Aerobatics should not be attempted without adequate training.

Some thoughts from VH-FJA

Aerobatics are why we have Fujis. FJA will loop at 120kts and roll at 110kts. A snap is 85kts, if held in the snap for 1 1/2 turns you can recover inverted and then pull through. Alternatively just hold it in a snap and let a spin develop.

Due to lack of effective ailerons at the top of a loop FJA will not roll off the top, even with higher entry speeds. For the same reason a reverse Cuban is easier than a cuban 8. I'm open to suggestions.

Stall turns require rudder application around 50 kts to get round successfully.

Beyond 6 turn spins things start getting quiet and recovery sluggish. Has anyone done longer spins?
